LOUTH darts star Dylan Quinn had his best run yet at the PDC Development Tour in Milton Keynes today as he surged all the way through to the final eight in Event 3.
Quinn was in fine form all day as he won five games on the spin to pick up some crucial ranking money along the way.
He began his run today with a whitewash win over Toby McLeod of Wales, before accounting for fellow Irish player, Ryan Dowling in the next round, with another 4-0 win.
Quinn produced some magic darts after that, averaging an impressive 88.34 in a 4-1 win over Germany's Patrick Ludtke, and again averaging over 80 in a 4-2 win over Belgium's Sam Devoght in his last 32 clash.
However he produced his best performance of the lot with a 90.18 average in dispatching England's George Bamber in the last 16.
That set him up for a quarter final clash with another Englishman, Charlie Manby, with Quinn eventually crashing out in a 5-1 defeat.
Meanwhile, Tipperary's Aidan O'Hara, who made it to the semi-final of Event 1 on Friday, had another decent run to the last 32 that should see him going well on the early PDC Development Tour Order of Merit for this year.
