CORK darts star John O'Shea has the chance of more Modus Super Series glory as he competes in finals night at the Live Lounge tonight.

The Joker left it late but managed to come through Group B on Friday night to put himself in contention of being a weekly winner for the second series in a row.

O'Shea managed to win three of his four games on Friday night to comfortably claim one of the three qualifying spots up for grabs from Group B.

The pick of his wins was a 4-1 victory over Steve West, in which O'Shea averaged just shy of 90, while last leg victories over Jamie Durrant and Charlie Many ensured he would go through from the group on eight points.

He will be back in action tonight against Manny and Scott Campbell in a bid to get out of his group and make it into the semi-finals.

O'Shea has enjoyed excellent success on the Modus Super Series over recent times, winning a week and making it to Champions Week in series 11.

He also followed that up by winning theModus  International Pairs with Conor Heneghan back in August, having previously made it to Champions Week in that with Shane McGuirk.
