THERE was only ever going to be one contender for the Sunday Shoutout this week.
After his heroics midweek, Westmeath youth darts star Conal Farrell gets the nod for his nine dart heroics.
The 17-year-old hit perfection while playing at Edenderry Youth Darts Academy on Tuesday night.
The feat shows yet again what incredible young talent is coming through the ranks in Ireland.
Not content with that, Conal, an INDO Inter Counties Youth championship finalist with Westmeath this year, then rocked up at Athlone Youth Darts Academy two nights later to break the 1,000 JDC Challenge barrier.
He hit the highest score on the night with an impressive 1,264.
If he keeps hitting the heights like this there will be plenty more to come from yet another rising star in the game.
