KILKENNY darts sensation Ruby Grace says she hopes her run to the final of the Girls Inter Counties singles is a sign of great things to come for her in the game.
The 13-year-old played exceptional darts on Friday night to win her way through to the final against Carlow's Rebecca Allen.
Serial winner Rebecca just had too much for Ruby in the final as she ran out the winner to claim her third INDO Girls Inter Counties title in a row.
However Ruby has shown enough promise this weekend to show that she will be back in many more finals.
She told Darts In Ireland: "I thought from the first couple of group games that I was playing well enough to go far.
"Playing Rebecca in the final was tough as she's very good and experienced.
"But this will give me the confidence to take on these big tournaments in the future.

Ruby's run to the final saw her come through an incredibly difficult group that included Rebecca Allen, Rachel Ivers, Brooke Warren, Zoe Burke and Molly Doheny.
She won all but one of her group games to set up a quarter final against Ireland's third ranked player Aoife Porter.
Ruby showed true grit to come back from 2-1 down in that game to win it 3-2 and advance to a semi-final clash with Ireland's number one Zoe Burke.
She again showed amazing composure to win that game 3-1, capping it off with a 20 dart leg that included back-to-back 140s.
Ruby said she hoped her heroics will help more girls in Kilkenny take up the game.
She said: "None of my friends play at the moment but they could take it up after this though.
"We have a good Kilkenny youths team here too and I think we can do pretty well in the team competition.
"If we're all playing our best game we can go far enough."
