
THE Dublin Men's and Ladies teams were crowned INDO Inter Counties B champions following a thrilling and tense day of action in Killarney.
The Dubs men are now back-to-back B champions after they overcame Limerick 7-6 in a nail-biting final that went right to the wire.
John McGrail proved to be the hero for Dublin as he won the final crucial game that meant they retained the title they won in Trim 12 months ago.
It was a win that didn't look likely early on when Limerick stormed into a 4-1 lead after Alan Cronin, Adrian Hannon and Alan Leahy won the first three games for them.
However Dublin didn't panic and gradually got themselves back into the game, as three wins on the trot from Rory Clarke, Corbin Rawlins and Kyros Stavrianos left the game tied at 5-5.
Limerick edged in front again through Shane Heffernan, meaning Dublin needed to win the last matches to win the title.
That's just what they did as Phil Talbot edged them in front and John McGrail then saw them over the line to rapturous celebrations from the Dublin contingent in the Gleneagle hotel.

There had been similar scenes earlier when the Dublin Ladies also had to come from behind to win a tense final over Galway.
It was Dublin's captain Debbie Reynolds who held her nerve in the crucial last match to ensure that her team would win 3-2 and claim the championship.
Galway had started strongly when one of their star performers, Diana Zhukova - who was beaten in the singles final - won the opening match over Dublin's Denise McCormack.
Audrey Dunne soon levelled things up for Dublin with a win over Catherine Glennon, before Galway again edged themselves in front through Anne Connaughton.
Claire Rafter kept Dublin in the match by winning the fourth game, which included a 64 finish on the bull, before Reynolds played her captain's role by seeing her team home to glory.
