IRISH youth darts star Rebecca Allen says she is "over the moon" to have been crowned the first ever champion of the JDC Junior Power League.
The Carlow teenager showed just why she is considered such a hot prospect in the game by finishing second in the JPL table and then defeating Lexi Jane Rooksby 5-3 in her semi-final.
That set up a mouth watering final with the number one seed, Paige Pauling, which Allen won 6-5 in a nail biting decider that went all the way.
Speaking to Darts In Ireland after her latest incredible achievement, 16-year-old Allen said: "I’m absolutely over the moon, I still can’t believe it.
"It means so much to be the first winner of the JPL, especially going in as the second seed playing the number one seed in the final.
"I was bound to be the underdog and the bets were more than likely on Paige winning considering she was the first seed."

The final against Pauling was a typically close affair, with both players pushing each other all the way.
The two players have dominated the JPL throughout the year and served up a fitting finale that went to the very last leg.
Every leg of the final went with throw, to leave the game tied at 5-5 going into the deciding leg.
Allen kept her nerve in that, hitting back to back tons and eventually wrapping up her historic win on double top.
It certainly won't be the last time that these two battle against each other in big games.
They will square off again next month for the JDC Girls Series Ultimate final at the PDC World Matchplay in Blackpool.
Rebecca said this win should stand to her ahead of that contest.
She added: "It's a great confidence boost going on to the Winter Gardens next month."
