CORK darts star Ciaran Teehan has added another title to his glittering career as he claimed the ADC Ireland Open Doubles with Patrick Quinn on Saturday night.
The pair were in imperious form all night as they stormed through their group unbeaten, losing just one leg in the process.
From there they made it through to the semi-finals without dropping a leg as they first beat Jerry Wall and Robbie Hammond 3-0 in the last 16, and then repeated that scoreline over the pairing Niall Culleton and Stephen Rosney in the last eight, averaging an impressive 95.94 in that game.
That set up a semi-final clash with David Peacocke and Arron Blades, with Teehan and Quinn again getting over the line with a 4-1 win.
On the other side of the draw, the pairing of Killian McCormack and Ronan McDonagh were in superb form, as they overcame Dylan Slevin and Dylan Dowling in their quarter final and then came through a tough battle in their last four clash with Gerry and Aidan O'Hara to make the final.
However it was Teehan and Quinn who made sure of victory in that by getting off to a stunning start by winning the first four legs and eventually coming out on top 5-2.
It was a second victory of the day for Quinn, after the Republic of Ireland international had earlier won the ADC Ireland open singles.

Meanwhile, it was a good day for Mayo's Conor Heneghan, too, as he won the hotly contested ADC Ireland Open Rankings play off.
That victory means Heneghan will now face off with Cork's John O'Shea next month in the ADC Ireland Irish Title Belt match.
Heneghan had to beat some top class players along the way to do it, starting with a 6-3 win over Dani Di Tofano in his last 16 match before squeezing past Ciaran Teehan 6-5 in his quarter final.
That set up a semi-final clash with Republic of Ireland captain, Stephen Rosney, which Heneghan won 6-4.
He displayed incredible form in the final, whitewashing top Dublin star Alan Richards 6-0 with a 92.97 average.
The players will be back in action at the Talbot Hotel in Stillorgan, Dublin, today, for Event 3 of the Winmau Championship Tour and an ADC Open singles event this evening.
