MEATH darts star Neilie Brouder was the best of the Irish on the final day of PDC Challenge Tour action today.
The Magic Man conjured up some tricks to enjoy his best day of the weekend as he made it into the final 32 at Challenge Tour 20 in Leicester.
His impressive run began with a victory in an all-Ireland clash with Mayo's Ultan McDyer - one of the most in-form Irish players throughout the weekend.
However it was Brouder who claimed the bragging rights as he came through 5-2, winning the last four legs on the spin.
He was in even more impressive form in his next match, as he dumped out Scotland's Nathan Girvan 5-1 as he recorded an 89 average in the process.

That set up a last 32 clash with veteran Mervyn King.
Brouder started that match well as they shared the opening two legs, before King showed his experience to rattle off the next four legs to win the match with a 95.87 average.
Elsewhere, Limerick's Michael Flynn added a little bit more ranking money to his Challenge Tour pot with a 5-4 victory over England's Joe Croft in his opening match.
However, Flynn couldn't progress any further than the last 64 as he was beaten 5-2 by Scott Waites in his next game.
Flynn has now passed the £2,000 mark on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit, which he will hope will keep well inside the top 30 that has seen him earn call-ups to the PDC Players Championships this year.
