Reece St Ledger of the Craobh Chiarain darts club in Donnycarney Dublin, was a comfortable winner of the first Ballymun Darts Open held in Trinity Comprehensive School on Saturday evening.
After moving smoothly through the last sixteen and then the quarter and semi-finals, St Ledger faced his young clubmate Kyle Keegan in the best of five final, beating him 3-0.
The open, part of the Ballymun Health and Fixture Festival, had attracted entries from the D7 club in Cabra, the Metzo club in Ballymun and a few non-affiliated players.

The standard on show was superb throughout the day, as youth darts just continues to grow all the time in the capital.
And Reece followed up his impressive win with a run to the last four at the latest Dublin County Youth trials on Sunday.
The talented youngster came through his group in that with three wins, before advancing through two knockout rounds, for the loss of just one leg in the process.
He was eventually beaten in the semi-final of that by beaten finalist Olly McArdle.
