STEPHEN Rosney is the third Irish player to secure his PDC Tour Card after he finished fourth overall in the Q School Order of Merit.

The Republic of Ireland captain came into the final day outside the top five in the table that would win their cards but picked up three crucial wins that pushed him back into the qualification spots.
He now joins Niall Culleton and Shane McGuirk on the tour for the next two years after they won their cards over the previous two days.
There was no such luck for outgoing tour card holders Steve Lennon and Dylan Slevin, who both now have lost their spots on the PDC tour.

After losing in the opening round yesterday, Rosney came into the final days play needing to pick up some big wins to stand any chance of getting his card.
And the Offaly county captain did just that as ge got his day off to the perfect start with a 6-2 win over former BDO world champion Scott Mitchell.
He followed that up with an equally impressive 6-4 win over Adam Hunt with a 91.32 average.
He then got himself onto the 9 points he needed in the table by winning the final two legs over Scotland's Danny Trueman to secure a nervy 6-5 win.
His day came to an end with a 6-3 defeat to Stephen Burton in the last 16, but he had done enough at that stage to claim his PDC Tour Card.
