AT most big ranking events, Killian McCormack is usually in the mix at the business end of proceedings.
Such consistency means the Dublin darts star is currently in line to make the Republic of Ireland men's team for the Island Internationals tournamen for the third year on the spin.
McCormack is currently sitting 11th in the INDO rankings for that 13-man team and is clearly intent on staying there.
He told Darts in Ireland that making the Ireland team three years in a row would be very satisfying.
Killian said: "It's certainly my goal to make the team again as being in that top 13 is getting tougher all the time with the quality of players coming through now.
"I had a good start to this year's ranking season, making it to the final of the opening event, and I've been picking up ranking points along the way.
"I feel like my form is coming good again so I'm confident I can do well well in the rest of the ranking events.
"I will miss the next one in Ballina, which might put me under a bit of pressure, but if I need to perform and pick up a certain amount of points in the later events after that, I'd back myself to do it."
McCormack says playing for Ireland gives him an enormous sense of pride.
He added: "It's great when you put that Ireland shirt on. My first year playing at the Island Internationals, I was so proud but was not sure what to expect from myself.
"I ended up being the best performing player in the whole tournament with the best average, so that was a great experience."

McCormack has pin-pointed winning the INDO Irish Grand Prix two years ago as his real big break in the game.
And he has credited the support of his wife Donna and his children for making it happen.
He said: "Winning the Grand Prix that time really was special for me as I hadn't actually made it past even the first round before that.
"I had Donna and the kids with me that time and I put it down to them being my lucky charms.
"That's why they come to so many of the tournaments with me now and I really do draw a lot out of their support.
"Normally when I'm playing a game I'm completely in the zone and won't hear or see anybody else around me. But if Donna says something, she is the one voice I will hear."
Killian has also being doing extremely well at big ADC Ireland events, making it to two finals only last weekend.
He was beaten in the final of the ADC Open singles by fellow Ireland international Patrick Quinn, and also lost in the final of the doubles, with his partner Ronan McDonagh, to Quinn and Ciaran Teehan.
He said: "I wasn't too upset to lose those finals as I was playing good darts and that's the main thing.
"Paddy is a class player and he punished me for some missed chances. I had shots at doubles after just 12 darts in two legs but missed them and then Paddy took his chances. That's what you expect against such a good player.
"In the doubles event, myself and Ronan were going very well, putting out Dylan Slevin and Dylan Dowling and then Gerry and Aidan O'Hara but then had to wait for an hour-and-a-half for the final which I think put us off our stride a bit.
"But overall I was very happy to make two finals on the same day."
It's due to his good performances at ADC Ireland events that Killian has featured twice on the Modus Super Series.
He made it to finals night on his debut and says he would love another shot at it.
"I would love to go back on Modus as I thought I proved myself by making it to finals night the first time around," he said.
"I didn't do so well the second time around but there were reasons outside of darts for that, so to get to another chance at it again would be great."
