IRISH teenage darts sensation Rebecca Allen has won her second major title in two days after she was crowned the World Masters champion in Budapest today.
Just a day after claiming the WDF Girls World Open title, Allen added the World Masters crown by defeating England's Ruby Grey 5-3 in the final.
The 16-year-old from Carlow has been the star of the show in Budapest's Gerevich Aladar National Sports Hall, remaining unbeaten there all week to claim both titles.
She was in imperious form throughout the World Masters, topping Group D without even losing a leg, before advancing through three knockout games to make it to Saturday's semi-final against Marie Huber of Germany.
Despite losing the opening leg in that last four clash, Allen was never really in any trouble as she stormed back to win the next four legs in a row and make it into the final against Ruby Grey.
In a tit-for-tat decider, it was Allen who opened up an early 2-0 lead, only for Grey to come back and level it up at 2-2.
With the game evenly poised at 4-3 to Allen, the Irish girl took out a brilliant 71 finish to claim the WDF World Masters crown, with her opponent sitting on a double 10 to try bring the game to a last leg decider.
The victory for Allen comes just 24 hour after she also defeated England's Paige Pauling in the final of the WDF World Open.
