CONOR Heneghan was in superb form as he stormed into the Modus Super Series finals night by winning all four of his games to top Group B.

The Mayo man is now on course to make it three weekly wins in a row for the Irish after John O'Shea and Shane McGuirk were winners over the past two weeks.

Heneghan came into his final round of Group B games in second place, but still with a battle on his hands to ensure he got one of the three qualifying spots from the group.

He made the perfect start to his night by defeating David Fatum 4-2 in his opening game with a 100.21 average.

That victory ensured Heneghan needed at least one more win to be secure of his spot in finals night and he wasted no time in going about getting it.

A 4-1 win over Reece Colley with a 98.25 average put Heneghan in a strong position in the group, and he made sure of his qualification by following that up with a whitewash win over Joe Croft.

All that was left was for Heneghan to confirm his spot in finals night as Group B winner and he secured that by finishing off his night with a 4-2 win over Justin Smith.

It all mean Heneghan finished top on 12 points, with Colley and Smith joining him in finals night as they squeezed out Croft on leg difference.
