CORK'S John O'Shea will begin his Modus Super Series champions week campaign later on this evening as he competes for a shot in finals night in Group B.
It comes as O'Shea's international pairs partner, Monaghan's Shane McGuirk, will compete in Group C this afternoon in his bid to become the Series 11 champion.
The pair qualified for champions week by winning a week each earlier in the series, and both will fancy their chances of progressing if they can hit top form.
McGuirk, the reigning WDF world champion, has already competed in Group A, where he struggled to make an impact after a winless first day.
However he recovered to win five matches over the course of the following two days and will be looking to bring that better form into Group C.
It will still prove to be a difficult task for him, however, as he opens his Group C campaign today against Dutchman, Danny van Trijp, who was last week's weekly winner after he defeated McGuirk's fellow Ireland international in the final with a staggering 120 average.
The Arrow will also come up against experienced veteran Andy Hamilton, Scott Taylor, Jimmy van Schie and Richard McKee, with just two players out of the six to qualify for finals night on Saturday.
The maths are a little bit better for O'Shea in Group B, where three from five will make it through to finals night.
The quality of opponent is equally as tough, however, with The Joker pitted up against Adam Gawlas, Jeff Smith, Jurjen Van Ver Velde and Derek Coulson.
Shane McGuirk will get the Group C action underway with his match against Danny Van Trijp at 1.05pm today, with O'Shea in Group B action after 10pm tonight.
