RONAN McDonagh is in confident mood after romping into the Modus Super Series finals night with a superb run of wins in Group B on Friday night.
The Offaly man says he's now looking to "bring it home" after securing his spot in finals night for the third time in succession.
McDonagh, a winner of the INDO Masters Pairs with Alan Richards last weekend, has brought that form with him to Portsmouth as he finished second in Group B to claim his spot in finals night tonight.
He began the second round of Group B action on Friday night sitting fourth in the Group B table, with the only the top three to qualify.
However he soon set about ensuring he would be in that top three by winning his opening match of the night 4-2 over England's Chas Barstow, recording an impressive 94.15 average in the process.
McDonagh wasn't finished there, though, as he secured the same scoreline over Kurt Parry of Wales to put himself of the brink of qualification.
He made sure of that in his very next match as he won 4-2 yet gain, this time against American Alex Spellman.
Only defeat in his late match to eventual winner, Brian Raman, stopped McDonagh from topping the group outright himself.
However he is more than happy with his performances in Group B, as he now looks forward to finals night tonight.
McDonagh said: "I am over the moon with tonight and can’t wait for tomorrow night to get up on the stage again and hopefully I can bring it home."
